Blue and white minibuses transport locals throughout the city, but it is illegal for them to transport tourists. If you're traveling with a large group, you might want to consider renting your own private minibus. Prices begin at E£597 per day. Taxis are a convenient, if somewhat expensive, way to get around the city. Many drivers will not use a meter, so agree on a price before boarding. A typical 5-mile journey costs E£65-80.
