If you want to visit the Orlando theme parks, 10 days is the absolute minimum. A 7-night stay can be fun, but you won't be able to cross everything off your to-do list.

The main Central Florida bus system is known as the LYNX bus and is one of the cheapest methods of getting around Orlando. There are about 60 routes, each costing $2 per ride, with discount passes also available. Buses run at 15-, 30- and 60-minute intervals, with their stops marked with pink bus symbols or paw prints.

The best time to visit Orlando is from March to May. That's the time of year you'll find the most pleasant weather (high 50s to high 80s most days) and agreeable prices on travel and lodging (excluding holiday weekends and school recesses).
