The Ancient City was one of the best places we visited in Thailand and is an absolute must-see! Before visiting, I thought it would just be a few temples or an old city that could be explored in 30 minutes. I couldn't have been more wrong. The place is huge, incredibly beautiful, and full of impressive architecture and scenery. We rented a golf cart, which I highly recommend, and still spent over 3 hours exploring everything. There are also daily performances and activities, so make sure to check the schedule before your visit. We watched a Muay Thai show and a traditional Thai dance performance, which made the experience even more memorable. You can feed elephants for a small fee, and there are plenty of souvenir shops, snack stands, cafés, and restaurants throughout the park. There's even a charming floating market that adds to the atmosphere. This was easily one of the highlights of our trip, and I would recommend it to anyone visiting Bangkok. Don't miss it!

Read this is very important to help you save money. Take MRT to the last station Kheha and take a grab there is safer. Buy tickets online from kkday first before you come. It's much cheaper online than walk in. When you're here empty stomach there's a buffer here. The food was okay but not fantastic. It's cheap don't expect the best. If you buy buffet please tell the staff to take you to the buffer first. There's free tram service there. DO NOT rent the golf cart to the buffet its a waste of time because dining in takes time. One hour extra costs you 100 bath for the golf cart buggy. Finish the buffet and take the free tram back to the reception then rent from there on. The whole area is fantastic, beautiful and well maintained. If you have more people the golf cart is cheaper.

I’m not really sure why this park is rated so highly. While some of the park is lovely, unfortunately, quite a lot of it feels run-down and in need of repair. That said, we had a good time renting the buggies and driving around the park — it was good fun and probably the highlight of our visit. However, I wouldn’t say the park itself is a must-see or one of the highlights of Bangkok.

Ancient City was one of the most beautiful places I visited in Bangkok. The grounds are absolutely massive, and everywhere you look feels like stepping into a different part of Thailand’s history and culture. The architecture, temples, gardens, and attention to detail were incredible. I spent hours exploring and still felt like there was more to see. It was peaceful, inspiring, and one of those places that makes you slow down and appreciate the beauty around you. There were so many amazing photo opportunities, but beyond that, it was a great way to learn about Thailand in one location. If you’re visiting Bangkok and want something beyond the typical tourist attractions, I highly recommend adding Ancient City to your itinerary. It was easily one of the highlights of my trip and a place I would happily visit again. A place that reminds you how much beauty, history, and wonder there is in the world if you’re willing to slow down and explore it.

I do not see much the interest of this place. It’s a mini world of Thailand most iconic places. Better rent a golf car. Why it’s not that interesting? I believe it is are as an amusement park for kids but there is nothing that amuse the kids there. It is just fake mini landmarks here and there without any interest, explanation. The show is not so good neither. The pictures I posted are the highlight of this place. If you come from Bangkok it’s a long ride for nothing much.
