The views from the roof are excellent, and you can see quite a lot of the surrounding city, including towards the mountains.\n\nYou can either take the lift or use the stairs. I took the stairs, and they are fairly steep, so you’ll need a reasonable level of fitness, especially on a hot day.\n\nWhile I was there, a choir happened to be rehearsing inside the cathedral, which was beautiful to listen to and really added to the atmosphere. The cathedral itself is incredibly impressive, with beautiful architecture and design throughout.
