5 stars all the way! Now this is a spa! Beautiful. The long entry along the lava trail is beautiful, check-in was a breeze and their locker rooms are large and full of space for your things. I brought two smaller bags with the essentials and they easily fit in the locker. Love the waterproof wrist bands you wear for everything from masks to drinks to locker. The lagoon was warm and inviting and the mud masks were so fun. I enjoyed sampling the facial goods in the gift shop and they had some beautiful and high quality items inside and essentials for swimming if needed. We had snacks at the cafe and enjoyed a delicious toasted ham and cheese sandwich and chocolate cookie. Spent about 3 hours here total and really enjoyed ourselves. Long drive from Reykjavík - 45-60 minutes and an expensive taxi if you pay out of pocket.

A must experience when you are on Iceland! Even though there can be a lot of people there i recommend you booking early morning and you can be there as long as you want! In basic ticket you get 1 face mask and 1 free drink (one of the best slushy in my life) Showers and toilets are clean and well equipped. As i always say - there is crowed for a reason!

Thermal Pools – The pool itself is amazing, but all the phones and selfies take away from the experience. At so many high-end pools, it’s hard to relax with everyone posting for Instagram. The local pool in town is a breath of fresh air — no cameras, no distractions, just the water and the moment. Phones should be left behind so you can truly enjoy.

The Blue Lagoon in Iceland is truly one of those experiences that’s almost impossible to put into words—it’s absolutely mind-blowing. 💙 From the moment you step in, the warm geothermal waters feel incredibly soothing and therapeutic. The entire place has such a surreal vibe, like you’ve stepped into another world. What really stood out is how well-organized everything is—the process is seamless, and the wristband system makes it super convenient to access lockers, facilities, and even make purchases. The locker rooms and changing areas are spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room and amenities. Once you’re in the lagoon, there’s so much to enjoy—from the mud mask station (with one included mask and a few fun upgrades—we tried them all!) to the swim-up bar where you can grab a drink and just soak it all in. There are also saunas and steam rooms that add to the whole spa-like experience. And one thing we loved—Blue Lagoon is welcoming to younger guests too, unlike some geothermal spas that are 13+, which makes it great for families. It’s also super conveniently located near Keflavík Airport, making it a perfect first or last stop in Iceland. Yes, it’s on the pricier side and you definitely need to book in advance, but it’s 100% worth it. We went over Memorial Day so it wasn’t too crowded, but I can imagine it gets busy in peak summer. Overall, a five-star, once-in-a-lifetime experience that sets the tone for your entire Iceland trip. Highly recommend—you’ll be in awe from start to finish. ✨

Legendary We went there on September 3, 2026. My friend saw a shit floating on the water. We immediately reported to one of the security people who was wearing the yellow vest. He asked my friend where it is and it seems they tried to locate. we left the place right after as we don't want to dip our body. When we checked out, we asked about the status to one of the staff and he said that yeah we cleaned that out. I would expect that a genuine and sincere apology. It is quite embarrassing. All steam caves (even marked as a quiet zone) and sauna are noisy as hell. Some of the tourists simply cannot stop talking loud. We had to ask them to speak not loud several times but all people were really noisy and kept talking. A lot of people looked quite uncomfortable. The steam room and sauna are simply impossible to stay. I think this place need more staff to make the space more comfortable. I would say the place is not worth for 142 dollars as an entry fee.
