Chiang Mai Night Safari offers an incredible, immersive wildlife experience that stands out as one of the highlights of northern Thailand. Spread across a beautiful, lush landscape near the foothills of Doi Suthep, the park is exceptionally well-organized, clean, and family-friendly. Key Highlights * Open Safari Tram Rides: The open-air tram tours through the Savanna Safari and Predator Prowl zones are the absolute highlight. Getting to see animals like giraffes, zebras, white tigers, and lions active at night in naturalistic enclosures offers a completely different perspective than traditional daytime zoos. * Jaguar Trail Walking Zone: A beautifully illuminated 1.2 km walking loop around Swan Lake. It's a peaceful walk where you can spot smaller mammals, birds, and reptiles at your own pace. * Engaging Shows: The park features well-choreographed, non-intrusive performances including the Night Predators Show and the impressive Musical Fountain show with light and laser effects. * Atmosphere & Accessibility: Shuttle trams run regularly with friendly staff and informative, multi-language audio guides explaining animal behaviors and conservation efforts. Tips for Visitors * Arrive early (around 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM): Walk the Jaguar Trail during twilight before taking the evening tram rides to make the most of your ticket. * Book ahead: Booking tickets online in advance often includes round-trip hotel transfers from downtown Chiang Mai, which makes transportation effortless. * Bring a lightweight jacket: Evenings near the mountains can feel noticeably cooler than the city center. It is a memorable, well-maintained attraction that delivers great value for travelers of all ages.

Maybe it's not peak season idk. But the animals all lonely af inside πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™‚οΈ only 1 (max 2) unique animals. Herbivore safari highlights - You can interact with: some zebras, 4 giraffes, some ostrich, 2 sad elephants, 2 rhinos, 80% deer Carnivore safari highlights - 1 to 2 big cats per area (all sleeping so you never know when they're active), 1-2 hyenas, 1-2 wild dogs probably. 20% carnivores, 80% deer (again - at the carnivore safari) Evrn the tour guide had nothing else to say: "The male is obviously different than the female", "male has horns...", others i dont bother to remember. If you go at night time there's still some scary factor. But I'm kind so I'll add 1 more star for a hopeful future improvement πŸ‘ŒπŸ» If you have nothing else to do, this place is LAST RESORT

It was fun and good experience. I can see something that I won’t be able to see from somewhere else. Night Safari is the best. If you have a good luck you will be able to feed the giraffe by your hand and she is just right in front of you! 😍😍

Great little evening excursion. Priced a lot higher for tourists unfortunately, so if do not support the tourist pricing structure in Thailand then this place might be a miss. Lost a couple of stars because the giraffe feeding was closed yet prices stayed the same to have all access to the park. Tram rides were great, but timetable structure forces you to run from one station to the other, otherwise you miss the ride. Tiger show was really good, a couple of naughty tigers who didn’t want to listen to their trainers, which was funny to see. Overall recommend but again, the pricing structure needed to be adjusted for what wasn’t on offer.

An open air zoo with different shows happening and tram experiences. Expect to spend at least 4 hours and pick your activities time. I would say best to arrive by 4:30 pm so you can cover more and plan to leave by 9pm. Not too far from old town 20 25 min taxi. We bought on Agoda and saved big like 565 bath per adult and even less for kids. Other website and on ther official I saw 900 bath for adults and 600 for kids so it make no sense and at that price might not be worth it. No halal food options at the venue bring some sandwiches and chips along
