Churchill War Rooms Tickets

Wow ! If you like history please go. What an amazing experience. Steeped in history. It has been preserved since world war 2 every room was filled with amazing artefact. There was the audio tour as well. Tickets are priced mid range however I bought the yearly membership so I can now visit again and the other sites. As it worked out to be more economical. The coffee I had was amazing as well in cafe. I felt I was sitting in world war 2. Go with friends family or by your self. But do go if you love history or just want to witness something that was from a time that turkey changed the world. I have studied about it in school but after this experience I was absolutely over joyed. Thank you to the volunteers and staff for making it a great experience.

Frankly, historical aspects aside, it was a disappointing experience for me. £32 to visit such a tiny place, remain restricted to the corridors, and without a guide? I was out in less than 20 minutes. If you've previously been to Tito's Bunker in Bosnia, you'll appreciate my dismay. There, the place is huge, you are allowed to enter every room, truly live the experience, and have a mandatory guide by your side for more than an hour, all for about £11. Go see it on Google maps and you'll understand. I would have given more stars if the fee was £5.

The museum is amazing. You will see what this man did during the war with the full story. You need to spend minimum 2 hours there to understand and to see the how it was at those days. You can take the Audio device in the beginning so you can hear and understand. There is an office to buy a ticket, but you will wait for the queue.

This IWM site is a must-see for both WWII history buffs and those who are genuinely curious about how the Allies won the war. My husband and I had the honour of taking a "Behind the Glass" tour with an exceptional tour guide, Caroline. She brought us into three of the rooms: the Cabinet Room, the Map Room, and Churchill's bedroom. Within each room, she walked us through the history and significance of the space and those who worked there. She did all of this with an infectious enthusiasm and a delightful sense of humour. She allowed us to spend as much time as we needed in each room and answered all of our questions--we never felt rushed. We impressed by the overall curation of the space and could not have asked for a better tour guide. We highly recommend visiting the museum & taking the private tour if you can. Many thanks to Caroline for giving us a truly one-of-a-kind experience!

VERY interesting! My wife and I were fortunate to have Michael, one of the volunteer guides, offer to give us a short private tour of some of the key display items. He was knowledgeable and obviously passionate about the whole topic. We could have spent all day here, and will definitely plan another visit when we get to London again.
