Entry fee is Rs 200/- per head. They also provide a guided tour throughout the plantation area. Guide was good. But upon asking further questions, he was not confident. There is a watch tower type arrangement, from where you can snap photos. After completing the tour, they will direct you toward a shop where local coffee, spice, etc are sold.

Very disappointing plantation tour experience. The guide was extremely arrogant and spoke to us very harshly. Whenever we asked a doubt or requested clarification, his facial expressions and tone clearly showed that he was not willing to explain. At one point, when I asked a question, he responded rudely saying he had already covered it earlier and questioned why I was asking now — this is not the right way for a guide to treat paying visitors. First, they should learn how to behave with tourists. We did not enter the plantation for free — we paid for the tour and expected respectful treatment in return. Overall, very poor customer service. I would not recommend this plantation tour to anyone. Please choose a different plantation to visit — and the management should first learn how to behave well with tourists.

This is a Karnataka govt. sponsored coffee and spices plantation. Guides are really helpful and are well versed in multiple languages and answer all your queries you have regarding spices and coffee.

Total Thugs: Will take 200 Rs for showing plantation and showing mango and lemon tree as cinnamon tree as is we don't know. Bought Arabica and found it to be Robusta coffee. Please don't visit here if you are planning for a coffee estate or plantation visit. Their overall farm itself is hardly 2000-3000 sq ft. Also they will sell you home made wine for 1000 rs/bottle which is available in the NH 275 same road for about 350 to 400/bottle. Pure thugs. Do not buy spices or visit for plantation or buy home made wine. Everything is available cheaper without looting you in same adjoining NH 275/SH 88
