Cultural Foundation Abu Dhabi

Committed to creating an environment conducive to cultivating and elevating the mind, the leaders of the United Arab Emirates passed a law to set up a cultural edifice the same year as the union in 1971, with the aim of nurturing heritage and the arts in this fast-developing nation. A visionary, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan al Nahyan, Founding Father of the United Arab Emirates, sought to engage the country in cross-cultural dialogue with the international community from the outset.
