Efteling

We had a gorgeous day here in the busy period during summer. Amazed as the most we waited was 30-35 minutes for a ride, we expected longer compared with other theme parks in peak time! The weather was great and we had such a fun day. Caters for all ages, the beautiful fairytale forest and the quaint wonders here. We were pushed to fit it all in but managed to see everything we wanted to and we were there opening until close. Two days would be ideal. The rides were great and varied. Particularly enjoyed Vogel Rok and for younger Max and Moritz. We had planned to do a picnic on the Gondola ride for lunch, however we weighed it up and the wait plus how long it looked like it lasted, we passed on that one. Did do the train around the park which was fun. Very clean and the attention to detail on all aspects were fun! Symbolica was great, I worried there was a huge difference out of the three different things you choose, no the majority of the ride is same only a room you go in for the picture. Wildlife around the park and beautiful views. Lots of fun! Had high expectations and we weren't disappointed. We would look at staying in the hotel for early access and also as it looks great.

First time visiting Efteling in June and was absolutely blown away by the park - what a truly magical place! From the moment you enter you are just transported to another world. The theming and attention to detail is immense, everything just seems so well cared for and looked after. There’s such a fantastic mix of rides including some of the best dark rides I’ve ever experienced. Danse Macabre was completely unique and mesmerising! As vegans we also felt extremely well catered for and there were so many options. We enjoyed a kebab for lunch and mini pancakes as an afternoon treat. We only came for one day but felt we needed at least one or two more to fully experience everything on offer. We’d definitely stay in one of the on-site hotels next time too as they looked beautiful. My only suggestion is that I’d like to see one more world class roller coaster in the park, with the same amazing storytelling and theming you find on Baron. Overall we thought it was fantastic value for money, especially compared to some of the bigger well known parks in Europe. We absolutely can’t wait to return to Efteling!

Just perfect! and if shall like to start with the bottom line: Yes! much better than Disneyland! The park is magnificent, and when rising on one of the really tall rides, you notice you are actually in the middle of a forest. The wooden rollercoaster is a must, it is super fun and bouncy, a true thrilling and uplifting experience. Among so many of the magnificent dark rides Droomvlucht (many fairies, trolls and anything you can dream of) was so spectacular that it brought tears to our eyes. We used the virtual queue for a few rides and it helped. and we found two days to be enough, although we were very quick and efficient. The magical area where European fairytales come to life with talking trees and houses made of mushrooms is great too. There's so much to see! We just loved everything, even the food wasn't bad at all.

This place is absolutely wonderful! We visited on a weekday and didn't have to wait to enter, which was a huge plus. It truly is a magical place ✨ We had such a fantastic time exploring everything it has to offer - the rides, the magical forest, the food and various interactive spots throughout. The water show is truly spectacular, shame it wasn't darker outside to make it even more magical with all the lights⛲.

Best Theme park I have ever been to. The place is intricately designed. Every ride has been carefully thought out. The rides themselves are brilliant and the Wooden rolercoaster was a highlight! The app was also excellent in live time updates to try to get around the queues better. Be prepped to spend the whole day there and finish with the amazing water jet display.
