Truly enjoyable for all ages and not too big and not too small. Very very clean and very friendly staff working there. Great free parking place right in front of it. A lot of food options allover the park and the prices are higher than outside of course but still quite acceptable. There is also plenty of rest rooms all around and they have cleaning staff present non stop, so it's clean and has everything a family needs. For a quick tour one day is enough, but if you want to visit also the adjacent aquarium you should take two days at least. The closing time at 17h is really too early and the day is over very fast. If I would want to se everything in total peace, three days for sure. :) The only thing that I see missing here is more shade everywhere. We went there before the weather was hot, so it was fantastic, but in the summer it must be too hot there for sure. I would avoid going there in the hottest months. If they can invest millions in new attractions, they should spare a few $$ more also for some cool design removable shade systems, that they could open easily when it's hot and remove when it's not, to keep that pleasant openness of the park. But that is truly the only remark to make, because the sun really is unforgivable and it can exhaust people entirely in a very short time.

Gardaland is the biggest amusement park in Italy. It opened over sixty years ago. The park consists of differently themed sections, such as medieval land, wild west land, fantasy land, Legoland, and Peppa pig land. There are dozens of rides of varying thrill levels. Each ride has a strict height restriction. Children under 110cm are not allowed on most rides. Highlights are the rollercoasters (oblivion, mammoth, raptor, dragon rush, blue tornado, and wolf legend), the water based rides (like Escape from Atlantis, Jungle rapids, and Colorado Boat), and the unique ride 'magic tree'. Numerous playgrounds, restaurants, and gift shops. Tickets: in addition the main park, you can get a combi ticket including the sea life aquarium and the Legoland waterpark. As you can easily spend several days there, a two-day ticket is recommended.

We had a very nice day here! What was very nice: the crowds were very easy, so we could get through everything fairly quickly. It was a pretty hot day and then it is noticeable that the park is very spacious; the walking distances between the attractions are a lot bigger than we are used to from other parks. In terms of staff, we saw a huge contrast: some could not seem to feel like it, while others were extremely friendly and enthusiastic. All in all a beautiful park and definitely worth four stars! Tip: The attraction "Jumanji Adventure" is really worth it!

10/10 rides. We went in July and it was very hot, so i recommend arriving early at 10:00, escaping the heat and crowds in the afternoon and returning at night! (you have to get a stamp when leaving to return later just ask the staff!) When we arrived we waited 15 mins max per ride and a lot of fun! However with time the waiting increases. In opinion this is a great themepark which has a lot to offer and great value for money.

Gardaland is definitely worth a visit, but don't bother staying for the closing event. Don't get me wrong, it was fine and they used a bit of lasers and water effects, but it was absolutely nothing compared to other parks we have visited throughout Europe over the past 8 years. It felt pretty lame—basically just a light show with a guy inside a toy acting as a DJ. On the positive side, the rides were fun, and there were barely any lines. We were recommended to buy the Fast Track, but we only ended up using it 5 times for the rides we wanted to re-visit before closing. Pro tip: Bring your own food and drinks. Just like any other theme park, the food inside is expensive, and you will waste your day waiting in food lines instead of enjoying the rides.
