The grounds are large, lush, clean, and feel relatively natural compared to what I expected. The enclosures seem designed to somewhat replicate the animals’ natural environments rather than simply displaying them openly.\n\nOne trade-off with this approach is that the animals are not always easy to spot. Some were resting away from view, hiding from the heat, or blending into their surroundings. While this can be slightly disappointing when you are hoping to catch a glimpse of a favourite animal, it also makes the experience feel more natural and less staged.\n\nAlthough the zoo is large, it did not feel crowded even on a public holiday, as both the animals and visitors are fairly well distributed throughout the park.\n\nThe zoo is still very big, and I ended up walking quite a large number of steps even with tram rides. I would strongly recommend making use of the tram, especially when visiting with family or older relatives, as the walking can add up quickly and become tiring in the heat and humidity.\n\nPersonally, I found the visit enjoyable but also quite tiring due to the size.
