Genting SkyWorlds Theme Park

It’s not a huge park, but it is packed with fun rides, and the virtual queue system works really well. If you download the app, you get three reservation slots that allow you to queue for popular rides in advance. We especially loved the Ice Age rollercoaster; the natural fog added such a cool, immersive element to the ride!

Nice chill place, not many theme park at this scale in Malaysia. But if you have been to bigger ones like USS or Disneyland, then this place might feel a little underwhelming. For a day trip or city escape, can consider here. Cool chilly weather is a plus and it’s only an hour away from Klang Valley. There are more reasons to like if you are fans of 21st Century IP i.e. Ice Age, Epic, Rio and others. Queue times are manageable since they provide complimentary virtual queue via their app. You could queue up to 3 rides the time I went. Sufficient food options as well at reasonable theme park price. Plenty of live shows as well if you are into that. Rides are generally quite enjoyable also. Thrill ride includes the Ice Age roller coaster and Samba Gliders. If you prefer slower rides, Epic Voyage to Moonhaven was rich with storytelling. Planet of the Apes ride was quite memorable as well, oh and Independence Day one was quite fun also.

Visited the outdoor theme park at Genting Highlands and overall it was a fun experience, but not without some downsides. The park itself is vibrant and well-designed, with a good mix of family-friendly attractions and more thrilling rides. The atmosphere is lively, and the cooler weather makes it comfortable to walk around compared to other theme parks in Malaysia. Some of the signature rides are genuinely exciting and worth trying, especially if you enjoy roller coasters and adrenaline activities. However, a noticeable drawback during the visit was that several rides were not available due to technical issues or maintenance. This was quite disappointing, especially for rides that were highly anticipated. It also led to longer queues at the remaining attractions since the crowd was concentrated in fewer areas. Food options inside the park are decent but on the pricier side, which is expected for a tourist spot. Staff were generally helpful, and operations seemed organized despite the ride closures. Overall, it’s still a worthwhile place to visit for the experience and variety, but it would be much better if more rides were fully operational. If possible, check ride availability beforehand to avoid disappointment.

I came during weekdays and it is less crowded. I got the chance to play most of the games and it is so fun. Staffs are so friendly and the toilet is clean. 10/10 for the games. Food are okay and there a variety of choices. Internet connections are just fine. Love it, i will repeat again and again

Genting SkyWorlds was one of the highlights of our trip to Malaysia. The park is beautifully designed, with immersive themed zones that make you feel like you've stepped into different worlds. The rides offer a great mix of thrills, family-friendly fun, and interactive experiences, so there's something for everyone. Went on a public holiday and was impressed by how efficient everything was. Did not wait too long for the rides, despite how busy it was. We were also impressed by how clean and well-maintained everything was, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Photo+ is a bit expensive but definitely worth paying for. Great way to capture the day 🫰🏽 From exciting roller coasters to detailed themed areas and entertainment, the park delivered a memorable experience from start to finish. Definitely worth visiting!
