I felt like stepping into another world by walking into Casa Milà. It’s designed by Antoni Gaudi and every room has its own character, from the flowing shapes and colorful details to the clever use of natural light. We took our time exploring the apartments, courtyards, and attic, and it was fascinating to see how far ahead of its time the design was. Even if you’re not an architecture enthusiast, it’s easy to appreciate the creativity behind every corner. My favourite part was the rooftop; the famous chimney sculptures and panoramic views over Barcelona were beautiful and there were plenty of photo opportunities. The audio guide was helpful and explained the history and design very carefully and clearly. If you’re planning to visit, booking your tickets in advance is a good idea since it gets quite busy, especially during the summer.

Visiting Casa Milà (La Pedrera) in Barcelona was an exceptional architectural experience that fully justifies its reputation as one of Antoni Gaudí's greatest masterpieces. The entire visit was exceptionally well organized, and the audio guide provided through headphones offered insightful explanations of the building's history, design principles, and architectural innovations, making the experience both educational and highly engaging. One of the most impressive aspects of Casa Milà is its remarkable state of preservation. Every space—from the residential apartments and common areas to the attic and the iconic rooftop—has been meticulously maintained, allowing visitors to experience the building much as Gaudí intended. The quality of the restoration and conservation reflects a deep respect for architectural heritage. What makes the visit truly memorable is the opportunity to experience Gaudí's architecture firsthand. The organic forms, masterful use of natural light, structural ingenuity, and fluid spatial organization create an atmosphere that cannot be fully appreciated through photographs or books alone. The rooftop, with its sculptural chimneys and panoramic views over Barcelona, is an unforgettable architectural experience and undoubtedly one of the highlights of the visit. The only minor drawback is the ticket price, which is relatively high. However, considering the global significance of Gaudí's work, the outstanding level of preservation, and the overall quality of the visitor experience, the admission fee is understandable and ultimately feels justified. Casa Milà is not only an architectural landmark but also an outstanding example of how cultural heritage can be preserved and presented to the public. I left with an even greater appreciation for Gaudí's vision and craftsmanship, convinced that this is a place every architect and architecture enthusiast should experience at least once in their lifetime.

Beautiful views from the terrace. An inside into Gaudi’s inspiration. Easy guided tour with headphones provided with the entrance. Not very crowded and about 1 - 1:45 hours, so it was good for my 7 year old. He loved it!

CASA MILA also known as La Pedrera, is a stunning architectural masterpiece in Barcelona that truly captivates visitors. The night tour inside the building offers a unique perspective on its intricate design and history, revealing details that are often missed during the day. The atmosphere during the evening is magical, with the soft lighting casting beautiful shadows on the unique stone facade. Walking through the building, you can appreciate Gaudí's innovative use of space and natural forms, which create a sense of harmony with the environment. The highlight of the tour is undoubtedly the rooftop, where the iconic chimneys resemble warriors standing guard over the city. The panoramic views of Barcelona against the night sky are breathtaking. Ending the experience with a glass of cava adds a delightful touch, allowing you to toast to the beauty of Gaudí’s work. It’s a perfect way to unwind after an enlightening tour. Overall, the night tour at Casa Milà is a must-do for anyone looking to immerse themselves in Barcelona's rich architectural heritage.

Casa Mila is a must do in Barcelona. The outside view from the street is stunning and unique. However, the true details are inside the building and worth the entry fee. We used one of Go City pass options to visit and bypass the ticket queue. I recommend buying your entry ticket in advance. The highlights of this site for us was the detail attic and the amazing roof top.
