Montjuïc Cable Car was actually one of the more interesting experiences for me in Barcelona. I took the bus to get there, and I’d really recommend going early in the morning because the lines can get quite crowded later in the day. The cable car ride itself was really enjoyable and a bit exciting, especially with the views while going up. We were also able to bring our large stroller with us, which made things much easier than expected. At the top of Montjuïc, the atmosphere feels very historic and scenic at the same time. The views over Barcelona are beautiful and it’s a great place just to walk around and take everything in. One thing I would suggest is to bring your own snacks and drinks, because there aren’t always many easy options available up there. Overall, it’s a really nice experience if you want a mix of views, nature, and a relaxed cable car ride above the city.

The cable car is definitely worth doing for the experience and the incredible views over Barcelona. The scenery is absolutely stunning, and it's a great way to see the city from a different perspective. Our only criticism is that the ride is very short. We paid around £40 for a family of four, and the journey only lasted about 5–10 minutes, so it did feel a little overpriced for what you actually get. That said, if you're happy to pay for the amazing panoramic views and a unique experience, it's well worth adding to your Barcelona itinerary. Just go knowing it's a fairly quick ride.

Montjuïc is definitely worth visiting! The views are absolutely stunning and, in my opinion, among the best in Spain. You can see the whole of Barcelona from the top, and the cable car ride is a fun and unique experience. Tickets for the cable car can be purchased both online and at the station. Just keep in mind that entry to Montjuïc Castle is not included with the cable car ticket and must be purchased separately. Highly recommended!

We visited Barcelona at the turn of May and June, and this was, of course, a must-see. We bought our tickets online and just showed them at the ticket office once we got there. The climb to the top doesn't take long, but the views are already fantastic. At the top is Montjuïc Castle, and the panoramic view of all of Barcelona... it's breathtaking; no photos can do it justice. What more can I say? You have to see it for yourself. I highly recommend it! 👍

Spectacular views across the wider city of Barcelona. Whilst not cheap. This tourist attraction is a must do when in Barcelona. Normally a long queues to get in but once on the cable car the view is amazing. Not for the faint hearted in a wind though...
