MoMA — A Must-Visit in New York City Visiting the Museum of Modern Art in New York was an incredible experience. MoMA is one of those places where you can feel the history and evolution of modern and contemporary art all around you. From iconic masterpieces to thought-provoking contemporary works, the collection is incredibly rich and diverse. I particularly loved the way the museum brings together painting, sculpture, photography, design, film, and other forms of artistic expression. There is something inspiring about walking through the galleries and seeing works that have shaped the way we understand modern art. The atmosphere is vibrant, creative, and unmistakably New York. For anyone passionate about art, creativity, or design, MoMA is absolutely worth visiting. A fascinating cultural experience and one of the places that truly reflects the artistic energy of New York City.

This museum is absolutely legendary and a total must-visit if you are in NYC! Seeing absolute masterpieces like Van Gogh's The Starry Night and Claude Monet's massive Water Lilies up close in person is a completely surreal experience. The building itself is beautifully designed, bright, and very spacious, making it easy to wander around even when it gets busy. The outdoor sculpture garden is also a fantastic, peaceful spot to sit down and relax for a bit in the middle of Midtown. It is incredibly well organized, clean, and the staff are super helpful. Definitely book your tickets online ahead of time to skip the main lines. Highly recommend!

The Museum of Modern Art is a must-visit destination for anyone with an appreciation for art. From some of the best-known artists of the late 19th, 20th, and 21st centuries—such as Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Frida Kahlo, Jackson Pollock, and Andy Warhol, to more contemporary artists, MoMA boasts an extraordinary collection. The museum's 42-foot-long display of Water Lilies panels is a sight that, once seen, will never be forgotten. It's simply astounding, immersing visitors in Monet's vision on a breathtaking scale. And with The Starry Night as a permanent fixture, MoMA holds a special place for countless art lovers who travel from around the world to experience one of the most iconic masterpieces of post-Impressionism in person. A highlight of my visit was the exhibition featuring the works of Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera. It was breathtaking, offering a powerful glimpse into Frida Kahlo's perspective and the deeply personal stories expressed through her art. Overall, MoMA delivers an unforgettable experience that continues to inspire long after you leave its galleries.

Excellent collection and a great location overall to see and right after, explore the rest of midtown manhattan, or even walk to time square. I did not honestly understand a lot of the work here, not an expert personally but our child enjoyed viewing the real work that she first learnt about in school such as starry nights or the water Lillies. Restaurant was also very good. If you are buying 3 or more entry tickets, might as well get the annual membership itself which costs same, and includes free guest passes.

Beautiful museum filled with so much art. I’d recommend setting aside at least 2 hours to see everything. Wear comfortable shoes, too. There was a small line to enter on a weekday afternoon. I’d recommend going earlier in the day if possible. Also, there was a small gap in the railing for the line- don’t be lame and cut in from there when there are people following the rules and going to the end to enter
