The story of the conquest of Constantinople is truly extraordinary. Given the name “Panorama 1453,” I had expected an immersive 360° video experience that would bring the different stages of this great historical event to life. Unfortunately, I was disappointed to find that the experience is mainly a static 360° panoramic painting accompanied by sound effects. While impressive as an artwork, it does not fully make you feel as though you are witnessing the conquest itself. I really wish the museum had offered an immersive 360° video or multimedia experience recreating the siege and conquest step by step. With today’s technology, this incredible story could be brought to life in a truly unforgettable way

The top floor of this museum is great.. the 360 exhibition - but the rest is of poor quality - and a waste of time. How ever, if you are crazy about a naive one-sided tale/history about the conquest of Constantinople in 1453... Be aware, the Turkish museum prices! The see gold when they see a foreigner - and the ticket price more than double. 17 Euro for foreigners to enter here... 17! I Give the museum two stars, as I do really think the 360 exhibition is great, but it is only a part off the museum - and it is not worth 17 euro.

Panorama 1453 History Museum, Cultural Park,Topkapi is the world's first full panoramic museum. It shows 360 degree painting on the conquest of Istanbul by Sultan Mahmet ll. The place is also historically involved in the conquest. It was a Bus terminal converted to a huge Culture park of green trees & flowers by Istanbul Municipality. You may visit if you have time.

Most boring museum of the world. Tourists pay premium to walk through a gallery of text all in Turkish! Only little signs not even at eye level so you have to break your back to read them... If you can make sense of it. the translation is terrible with multiple spellings or non-sense word. Almost 20euros to look at signs it's a shame. Show wise don't expect much it is a just gigantic dome painted with sound. That's it. Nothing immersive, not even instructive. Real tourist trap. Don't waist your time and money keep walking!

The panorama picture itself is fantastic but the rest needs fixing. The English language translations beneath pictures in the rest of the museum need work and sometimes the translations dont seem to match the pictures they're under.
