Very suitable for kids. You can see a lot of animals inside. From the beginning of life. Until human beings. You may find about 30% major animals inside. But not much fossils, I was expecting more dinosaurs fossils inside, lol Still it’s a nice place to go.

I adored this museum! As a Geologist/Paleontologist I have been to many but this one is special. It is in such a grand, lovely hall and location, the exhibits it has are beautifully kept and preserved, it has a good food/drink offering in its cafe and the staff were nothing but lovely. I also visited the special "Traces of the Dinosaurs" exhibit on at the moment and I was thrilled to see the collection! They have done a great job of the exhibition. It was a pleasure to learn more about French found fossils and sites ❤️ I was dancing like a child when I saw the Dickinsonia and Cooksonia fossils. All day long I was like a child again, so excited and couldn't stop smiling ❤️ Merci NMoNH! I will be back and I'll be telling others to come your way! I just wish there was a ticket that covered visiting the Hall of Geology and Minerals, the Zoological Gardens and the Natural History Museum.

Very interesting museum, the interior of the building itself is gorgeous and the animal display is really well thought. Many sections with good explanations and the dinosaur skeletons are really amazing. Well worth a visit when in Paris.

The best 14euros I've spent in a very long time: definitely worth checking out this museum, lots of information and taxidermied animals but still suitable for kids of all ages. We meant to spend an hour checking it out, we ended up remaining there for 3.30h! And time flew by! Definitely recommend visiting!

There are not a lot of exhibits, but it is the most beautifully decorated museum I have visited. The interior and lighting are artistically designed, and it feels like an opera theater. I wish there were English descriptions for the exhibits, as this would greatly benefit international visitors. I also wish there could be exhibits dedicated to Buffon, Cuvier, and Lamarck, great naturist who contributed to our understanding of the world.
