Here is the English translation of the review, tailored to match the tone and word count: Da Nang International Airport – A Bit Dated, But Effortlessly Smooth! If you're expecting a ultra-luxurious or flashy airport, Da Nang might fall a bit short of your expectations. The facilities feel a little dated, showing their age in design and layout. However, it easily makes up for it with a relatively quiet and spacious atmosphere (outside of peak holiday seasons). You’ll rarely run into suffocating crowds or endless queues. The absolute best part is the lightning-fast check-in and processing time: * Check-in & Bag Drop: The staff works efficiently, and the passenger flow is smooth, so bottlenecks are rare. * Security Check: Fast and hassle-free—usually taking just 10 to 15 minutes before you're relaxing at the boarding gate. Plus, it’s located right near the city center, taking only about 10 minutes to reach. While the dining and shopping options inside are fairly basic, if you value speed, convenience, and a stress-free travel experience, Da Nang Airport gets a big thumbs-up!

Da Nang International Airport provides a fantastic first impression of Vietnam. Although it is a relatively small and compact facility, this layout is actually its biggest advantage. Navigating through the terminals is straightforward, eliminating the exhausting walks often required at massive international hubs. The cleanliness stands out immediately. The arrival halls, waiting areas, and restrooms are spotless and exceptionally well-maintained. Moreover, the efficiency of the airport staff is remarkable. The overall service is incredibly fast, ensuring that both the immigration and baggage claim processes take minimal time. We transitioned from stepping off the plane to exiting the building with zero hassle.

Departures from Da Nang International Airport (DAD) was a smooth experience. A few highlights that made the wait much easier: • Free & Fast Wi-Fi: Super easy to connect to throughout the terminal without any annoying registration forms. • Charging Points Everywhere: Plenty of dedicated charging stations and USB ports right by the seating areas near the gates. • Complimentary Baby Strollers: A lifesaver for families! They provide free strollers post-security so you don't have to carry your little ones all the way to the gate.

Decent facility, but let down by management policies and staff attitudes. We've travelled extensively with young children, and the only place we don't get any priority treatment is in Vietnam. Kids under 24 months only are allowed to skip queues for security and passport control. What a ridiculous rule, like there's much difference in the ability of a 25 month old child to bear long lines over a 23 or 24 month old. And the attitude of many of the staff manning security and passport control is so bad. Such a poor impression they give of Vietnam, talking to people in such a rude manner. We waited about 40 minutes with a 2 year old and a 6 year old just to clear security. The toilets also need better management. Soap is almost always heavily watered down or non-existent. It's been like this at Vietnam's airports for decades. Other than that, the airport is good.

A functional airport, but you should plan ahead for long immigration lines and higher prices! Expensive Airport: Overall, prices for food, drinks, and retail are on the higher side. Long Queues & Early Arrival: The international terminal gets very crowded with long lines. Make sure to arrive well before your flight to avoid missing it. Slow Passport Control: There are very few officers working at passport control, which causes heavy bottlenecks and slow movement. The staff aren't particularly friendly either. Pricey Goods & Shopping Tip: Everything inside is overpriced. If you plan to buy chocolates or souvenirs, definitely buy them in the city before coming to the airport. Cheaper Vending Machines: You can find vending machines in certain areas inside, which offer relatively cheaper snacks and drinks compared to the shops.
