Science and Industry Museum Paris Tickets

Nice place for families, but there’s room for improvement. Cité des Sciences et de l’Industrie is a nice place to visit with kids, and the entrance price is quite reasonable. However, I felt that quite a few of the interactive exhibits and facilities could benefit from better maintenance and updating. I also expected to see more hands-on science activities specifically designed for children. For us, the best part for the kids was definitely the children’s playground, which was much more engaging and enjoyable for them. One important tip: the playground operates with scheduled time slots, so I highly recommend booking your slot in advance, especially if you’re visiting during busy periods. Overall, it’s worth a visit, but with better maintenance and more interactive science experiences for children, it could be an excellent family attraction.

We had a fantastic family visit to the Cité des sciences et de l’industrie with our children, aged four and eight. They especially loved the Cité des enfants, where they had great fun exploring all the interactive activities. Each session is limited to 1 hour 30 minutes, but it was definitely one of the highlights of the day. Their next favourite was the temporary Cats and Dogs exhibition, followed by the space and robotics exhibitions. They were also amazed by the planetarium. You need to arrive about 15 minutes early, and the movie lasts only around 30 minutes, but the experience is truly exceptional. We chose the Aurora Borealis show and thoroughly enjoyed it. The Argonaute submarine was another enjoyable part of the visit, and the surrounding exhibition included some excellent games and interactive displays. We booked our tickets well in advance, which we would strongly recommend, as places fill up quickly for the Cité des enfants, the planetarium and the submarine. There is so much to see and do that we ended up spending nine hours there, and even then, our 4 and 8 year-old children still did not want to leave! A wonderful place for curious children and a highly recommended family day out.

I was expecting more. Idea is great. Neighborhood around is a hell in earth (you don’t feel safe). Inside looks amazing- idea is great - but maintenance of kids devices to play is not great. Roughly 30% of devices are not maintained (kids know how to break the toys!). Price is average. If you wish to spend time with your kids it’s good choice, not perfect but sufficient. I’m disappointed due to potential - it has great possibilities to have amazing place - but dirt, dust and maintenance of most of the stuff is poor. It has space for improvement.

I recently visited the City of Science and Industry in Paris while attending the Wikimania conference for a few days. It was an impressive space dedicated to science and conferences, offering a fantastic environment for learning and collaboration. The facilities were well-equipped, and the overall experience was highly enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone interested in science and technology!

So many things to see for €15 or €12 for children. There are workshops and live activities too, many of the personnel were friendly and try to explain things in English. Definitely worth it for the children to get more exposure on science.
