A temple inside the caves, this makes the place exceptional. After completing the 272 steps, you see this beauty. On one side you see the Beauty of temple and on the other side, the beauty of the city. And the giant statue of subramanya swamy. The temple is clean and spiritually peaceful. - Try to wear full clothes, covering the shoulders and knees, a small restriction as it's a spiritual place.

Batu Caves was one of the highlights of my trip to Malaysia. The place is absolutely stunning, from the giant golden statue at the entrance to the colorful staircase leading up to the caves. The atmosphere is unique, blending natural beauty, history, and culture all in one location. The climb can be a bit challenging, especially on a hot day, but the views and experience at the top make it completely worth it. A couple of things visitors should know before going. Parking is not free, so make sure to bring some cash or be prepared to pay for parking. Also, keep an eye on your belongings because there are plenty of monkeys around. They are fun to watch and photograph, but they can be quite bold and may try to grab food, drinks, or anything they think looks interesting. As long as you’re careful, they’re part of what makes the experience memorable. Overall, I had a great time visiting Batu Caves and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur. It’s a beautiful and iconic destination that offers much more than just great photo opportunities. Definitely worth a visit and an easy 5-star experience.

Be aware of the scam, it is free to visit but there will be people asking you to pay for parking or to go up. Just ignore them. Getting here can be confusing, gps may take you another way which was incorrect so watch out for the signs. Although, this is highly visited tourist area, this is very much a place of worship. At the time we attended it was mostly worshippers. There is vast difference between going during the day vs night. It was less busy, we did not encounter any monkeys at night. We were able to take our time going up. There was nice breeze in the air. Once you get up, there are more stairs to climb if you want to see another temple. The cave formations were unique to look at. There is a pungent smell in the air, it can be overpowering and make the experience a little enjoyable. I do recommend bringing water to drink as it’s a steep climb/ descend.

Visited this place in Malaysia, truly it is one of the most iconic and breathtaking place. The massive golden statues of Lord Murugan at the entrances of the temple is absolutely stunning and good for photography. Seeing this statue so close is an unforgettable experience. There were so many colourful stairs, I climbed a little bit beacuse batu caves was in my package and after we have to visit another place but the view from that was beautiful. There were plenty of monkeys around. It was hot at thay time so recommend to visit early in the morning. Overall Batu Caves is a must visit when in Kuala Lumpur.

A sacred and beautiful place. Anyone planning to go up to the top should prepare drinking water, a face mask, and a small portable fan, as the smell from the bats and monkeys can be quite strong. The stairs are also steep, so please walk carefully. The view at the top is beautiful, and the cave is large and impressive. It is definitely worth a visit.
