Singapore Zoo Tickets

I enjoyed my visit to the Singapore Zoo. The grounds are large, lush, clean, and feel relatively natural compared to what I expected. The enclosures seem designed to somewhat replicate the animals’ natural environments rather than simply displaying them openly. One trade-off with this approach is that the animals are not always easy to spot. Some were resting away from view, hiding from the heat, or blending into their surroundings. While this can be slightly disappointing when you are hoping to catch a glimpse of a favourite animal, it also makes the experience feel more natural and less staged. Although the zoo is large, it did not feel crowded even on a public holiday, as both the animals and visitors are fairly well distributed throughout the park. The zoo is still very big, and I ended up walking quite a large number of steps even with tram rides. I would strongly recommend making use of the tram, especially when visiting with family or older relatives, as the walking can add up quickly and become tiring in the heat and humidity. Personally, I found the visit enjoyable but also quite tiring due to the size. If comfort and a more relaxed pace are priorities, I found River Wonders easier to complete and more sheltered, though the zoo offers a wider variety of animals and a more expansive experience.

Meao meao meao 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛.. CNY visit with VIP access at the Singapore Zoo. We saw many animals including reptiles, turtles, and frogs while exploring the Fragile Forest. Frogs are important because they help indicate the water quality of an area. We could pet goats and even touch a snake during the animal show. Finished the visit with a nice break at Ah Meng Restaurant. 🐸🐍🐢

What we loved * A beautiful zoo with spacious, natural-looking habitats that make you feel like you’re on a safari. * Very easy to get to, and buying tickets on the official website was quick and convenient. * Don’t miss the keeper talks! Throughout the day, the staff share interesting facts about different animals, making the visit much more enjoyable. * There are also scheduled feeding sessions. It’s the best time to see the animals active and a great opportunity to take amazing photos and videos. * The zoo is huge but well designed, so everything is easy to reach on foot. * The gardens, trees, and tropical plants make the whole experience even more relaxing. Overall, Singapore Zoo is one of the best zoos we’ve visited. The animals appear well cared for, the park is beautifully maintained, and it’s an unforgettable experience for both adults and children.

I’ve been to many notable zoos around the world and I’ll have to say nothing comes close to this except maybe San Diego zoo. The exhibits are well maintained, a huge variety and diversity of animals with free tram ride. Here more or less every year and still looking forward to visit it each time. Notable include the loud howler monkeys, baboon troop, proboscis monkeys, fragile forest, reptopia, the orange utans, primate kingdom, and more! You will not regret visiting this if you haven’t already or visiting Singapore.

The grounds were spotless—clean pathways, well-kept enclosures, and plenty of shaded rest spots that made the whole experience comfortable even under the sun. It’s also wonderfully family-friendly. We noticed thoughtful touches everywhere: stroller-friendly paths, clean restrooms, and plenty of spots for kids to take breaks. The staff were warm and helpful, which added to the welcoming vibe. The animals looked healthy and active, and the enclosures were designed to give you great views without feeling cramped. Watching the giraffes up close and seeing the playful antics of the orangutans were absolute highlights. Overall, it’s not just a zoo—it’s a place where families can spend the whole day learning, laughing, and making memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a clean, well-run, and genuinely enjoyable outing!
