Sooo lovely! Best way to have kicked off our Iceland trip. After some research and reading reviews, I’m so glad we chose Sky Lagoon over Blue Lagoon. It did not disappoint and was the best way to kick off our Iceland trip. Highly recommend this be your first stop if you have an early morning arrival especially since hotel check in isn’t until the afternoon. Perfect to relax and reset after your travels, and then you can get ready for the day in the changing rooms.

Visiting Sky Lagoon was a highlight of our trip to Iceland, not just Reykjavik. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. The facilities were immaculate. The atmosphere, unforgettable. If you are looking for an unforgettable experience around Reykjavik, definitely visit. And when you do, grab a few drinks, grab a bite (the charcuterie was amazing) and you MUST do the seven step ritual.

Sky Lagoon is truly one of the highlights of Iceland and an experience I would recommend to anyone visiting. The location is simply breathtaking, with stunning views overlooking the Atlantic Ocean that make it feel peaceful and completely removed from the outside world. The facilities are exceptional—everything is spotless, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully planned. The lagoon itself is the perfect place to relax, and the seven-step ritual is an experience in itself. Every part of the spa feels luxurious without being pretentious. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and professional, making the entire visit seamless from start to finish. If you’re looking for the perfect escape to unwind and experience Icelandic spa culture at its best, Sky Lagoon is the place. Beautiful views, world-class facilities, and an unforgettable atmosphere make this a well-deserved 5-star experience. I would happily visit again.

100% will be going back to Sky lagoon. We did both Blue lagoon and Sky. Sky is definitely more luxurious than Blue, but smaller which made it feel more intimate. The swim up bar had excellent drink choices (get the crowberry martini!!) I loved the 7 step ritual, just wish you could go back into the sauna or steam room again. Overall, definitely worth the price tag.

Sky Lagoon was one of the highlights of our Iceland trip. My husband and I went early on a Sunday morning, and it was the perfect way to start the day. We upgraded to the 7-Step Ritual, and it was absolutely worth it. The combination of hot and cold experiences, the body scrub, and the purifying elixir at the end left us feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. The facility was exceptionally clean, well-organized, and never felt overcrowded. The lagoon temperature was perfect—warm and comfortable without being too hot. One thing we really appreciated was that there was no strong sulfur smell like you find at some geothermal spas. I also tried the Crowberry Martini, which was delicious and the perfect treat while soaking in the lagoon. The ocean views are stunning, and the location is much closer to Reykjavík than the Blue Lagoon, making it very convenient. If you’re visiting Iceland and trying to choose between the lagoons, Sky Lagoon should be at the top of your list. It is a must-do experience.
