teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi

We had such a wonderful experience at teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi on Saadiyat Island. We visited on a weekday at around 7 PM, and it was pleasantly quiet. There were no queues for tickets or entry, which made the whole experience feel very relaxed. The galleries were highly interactive and incredibly immersive. I especially enjoyed the sensory experience created by the lights, movement, reflections, and illusions throughout the different spaces. One of my favourite activities was drawing our own creations and then watching them come to life and become part of the interactive world around us. It made the experience feel very personal and playful. There is also a lovely café where we enjoyed Japanese-inspired drinks, which was a nice addition to the visit. A very creative, sensory, and enjoyable experience for both adults and children. I would definitely recommend it, especially if you enjoy interactive art and experiences that feel completely different from a traditional museum. ✨

Absolutely out of this world! teamLab Phenomena is easily one of the most extraordinary experiences in Abu Dhabi. From the moment you enter, you’re completely immersed in a constantly changing world of light, colour, sound and movement — at times it genuinely feels like you’ve stepped onto another planet. This isn’t somewhere to rush. Allow a good 2–3 hours to properly explore, interact with the installations and simply stop and take everything in. Every space brings something completely different, and some of the rooms are absolutely mesmerising. The building itself is spectacular and the whole experience is incredibly well put together. It may seem expensive compared with a traditional museum, but for me it was absolutely worth it. This is far more than looking at art — you actually become part of the experience. A genuine must-do in Abu Dhabi and one of the highlights of the Saadiyat Cultural District. Incredible!

Would rate this place as a must visit for young adults and children alike. Besides the obvious amazement one can expect, it is the sheer warmth of the staff that one is blown away by. My wife and I had visited on the 20th of March of 2026 and the staff literally got her in tears with the way they celebrated her birthday. Everyone was up on their feet - clapping, singing, and making her feel like the queen 👸. Up until then her birthday was ordinary but after that, after the Team Labs phenomenon, we had the best birthday ever. They even asked the cafe to have a small cake-cutting ceremony, which I will share pictures of. The team in the cafe is truly exceptional as well. They deserve special mention, right from the managers to the barista and server. The management behind the staff creating such exceptional service culture also needs to be commended. Everybody was genuinely hospitable and happy to welcome guests. I would highly recommend a visit to Team Lab Phenomena for the jaw-dropping experience. One can literally spend three hours there. We also had some fantastic family pictures outside the café next to the cornish. Great backdrops, great ambience, memorable time indeed.

teamLab Phenomena was one of the places I was genuinely excited to visit, and it completely lived up to the anticipation. It sits somewhere between immersive art, contemporary art, architecture and entertainment, but what makes it different from a typical digital-art attraction is that the artworks are created through the interaction between light, water, air, space and visitors. I spent about 90 minutes there without feeling rushed, although teamLab recommends allowing 1.5–3 hours. Opening hours are generally 10:00–20:00, with last entry two hours before closing, and tickets currently start at AED 155 depending on the date and ticket type. I would definitely book in advance, particularly if you want a specific time slot. The experience is divided into dry and wet areas, with the wet section optional; if you do go in, wear something that comes above the knees. Shoes are removed and towels are provided. This is easily one of the most impressive immersive experiences I have visited, and one of the few places where I actually found myself tearing up because of how beautiful it was. If you are interested in contemporary art, immersive experiences or simply want to experience something completely different, I would absolutely recommend it. An amazing place for both kids and adults, with each section featuring a different theme and plenty to explore. We spent over three hours here and thoroughly enjoyed every moment. A fun and engaging experience for the whole family, with something interesting around every corner.
