We came here with some trepidation, and I think that was wise. Frankly, the place is a dump. It smells, has rubbish everywhere and trades off [very dubious] sex and alcohol. If it weren't for the abundance of sun, the place would not rate a mention in any travel brochure. If you can avoid food poisoning or a water borne diarrhoeal you have done pretty well and might come back to see if you can beat the odds a 2nd time.

This is the place to be! They still treat Americans nice. The food is amazing, the people are amazing, the beauty is off the chain. And, it's a lot less expensive than almost anywhere else.
