A Fun Day at the Botanical Garden and exploring Marina Bay Sands
I am a believer of flower power! If you enjoy plants and flowers, there are some fantastic locations such as the Flower Dome and Cloud Forest in the Botanical Garden and Gardens by the Bay. I spent the day there and attended the musical tree performance at the supertree forest. It was super refreshing and entertaining to be in a world full of nature rather than stuck in the sounds of traffic out on the streets.
I loved the Cloud Forest, which has the tallest indoor waterfall in the world, and the Flower Dome, according to the 2015 Guinness World Records. I discovered the place and found the Sun Garden's magnificent cacti, and I was in awe because this reminded me of the cacti that I couldn’t get enough of in Mexico.
Visiting the Singapore Zoo and enjoying observing the beautiful zebras, elephants, giraffes and watching the creepy snakes were a trip back to memory lane. The Zoo is amazing because it is designed around an open concept rainforest environment. I took a lot of photos and just strolled around, admiring the electric blue gecko that looked like it was dipped in paint.
The Marina Bay Sands Sky Park is one of Singapore's most recognizable structures. I viewed the Lion City and was 57 levels up in the building. I could see the striking skyline of the city from above! How magical by night and marvellous by day. This is obviously a special place to catch a sunset, where the skies turn tangerine.
