Today we woke up early and we had planned a trip to visit the Qutub Minar, the Lotus Temple, and Chandni Chowk with our friends. 

My husband has been to Delhi before, but our children have not. I am excited to show them around. Qutub Minar is one of my favourite places. It is a beautiful tower that was built in the 12th century. My children loved it and they did not miss any corner to get their photographs clicked. Then our next stop was at Lotus Temple. It is a beautiful building that was designed to look like a lotus flower. Every time we go there, we get mesmerised by its beauty.

In the afternoon, we took a rickshaw ride through Old Delhi. The rickshaw driver weaves in and out of traffic, narrowly avoiding collisions. It's a bit of a nerve-wracking ride, but it's also exhilarating. We went to the busy market of Chandni Chowk. It is a great place to do some shopping. We had our lunch there and did some shopping. We had such a wonderful time with the Aroras. They were the perfect hosts, and we felt like we had never been apart. It was hard to say goodbye, but we promised to keep in touch and to visit them again soon.

After bidding them goodbye, we boarded the train to Agra. We're all tired, but we're also excited to see the Taj Mahal. We arrive in Agra late at night and check into our hotel. We're all eager to get a good night's sleep so we can explore the Taj Mahal tomorrow.

After finishing our breakfast early, we left our hotel to see the beautiful Taj Mahal. We joined a tour group for a guided tour of the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort. Our guide was a very knowledgeable man who had a lot of interesting stories to share about the history of the area. He even took us through the different rooms of the Taj Mahal and explained the symbolism behind each one. We also got to see the beautiful gardens and learn about the different types of plants and flowers that are found there.

After the tour, we went on a street food crawl where we got to try some of the local delicacies. We started at a small roadside stall where we had some delicious aloo tikkis (potato fritters). We then walked to a nearby market where we tried some freshly made chaat (savoury snack). Our next stop was a popular sweet shop where we had some mouth-watering gulab jamuns (fried dough balls soaked in syrup).

The street food crawl was a great way to experience the local cuisine and it was a lot of fun. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is visiting Agra.

I woke up early today, excited for our half-day tour of Fatehpur Sikri. I had read about the historical city online and was eager to see it for myself.

As soon as I arrived at the site, I could tell that it was going to be a fascinating place. The buildings were so well-preserved and there was so much to see. I started with the Diwan-i-Khas, an impressive hall with intricate carvings on the walls. I then made my way to the Panch Mahal, a five-story structure with a beautiful view of the city. I could imagine the Indian royalty living here in luxury. As I walked through the empty rooms, I felt like I was transported back in time.

Before I knew it, it was time to leave. As I sat in the car to head back to Delhi airport, I felt grateful for the opportunity to have spent such a special time with my family and friends.
