DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL WITHOUT READING THE REVIEWS FIRST. The photos on Google appear to be edited and do not reflect the real condition of the hotel. On the phone, the staff will offer discounts and talk about the views to convince you to book, but the reality is completely different. We booked two rooms, and both were extremely dirty. The manager was very rude and unprofessional. It seemed like they don’t understand what proper room service is. The washrooms were not clean, and they did not provide basic items like towels or toiletries. Paid parking is about 1.5 km away from the hotel, which is very inconvenient. The next morning, when I tried to discuss these issues with the manager, he responded rudely and used abusive language. I did not continue the argument because I was traveling with my family. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

Here I'm giving honest review. This is the best hotel in udaipur with affordable price. This hotel is near from lake. The roof top view is too good. The room is too good as per the price. Everything is near from this hotel. If you're coming with your friends then this hotel is for you. When I come to udaipur with friends then we are living over here.

The hotel is located inside a narrow area with no parking facility available on-site. Guests must use a private parking area across the road, which charges ₹30 per hour. The rooms are not in good condition and do not match expectations. The refrigerator in the room was not working properly. The hotel is also difficult to access due to its location. Additionally, guests are not allowed to sit or spend time on the terrace, which is disappointing.

I stayed at The Lake View Hotel near Pichola Lake, Udaipur for two nights, and unfortunately my experience was quite disappointing due to multiple issues during our stay. Firstly, at the time of check-in, we clearly informed the hotel staff that we would be checking out around 11:30 AM on Sunday, and they agreed to it. However, on Saturday night when we reconfirmed our checkout time, the receptionist (named Yash Mathur) refused and insisted on a 10:00 AM checkout. He spoke in a very rude and unprofessional manner. After much discussion, he reluctantly allowed 11:00 AM, stating that cleaning and room preparation were their concern. This information should have been communicated clearly in advance. Secondly, the Wi-Fi did not work properly during our entire two-night stay — neither on our phones nor on the TV. Despite multiple complaints, no technician was sent. The staff simply said that Wi-Fi does not work on the smart TV and asked us to watch regular Dish TV instead, which was unacceptable. Thirdly, there was no in-room telephone or communication system to contact reception. Mobile network connectivity inside the room was extremely poor, forcing us to physically go down three floors every time we needed assistance. Fourth, although the room size was large, the air conditioner was installed in a position where only the drawing area received cooling, while the bedroom remained hot and uncomfortable at night. Fifth, hot water was available only until 3:00 PM. After that, guests were left without hot water facilities, which is highly inconvenient and not acceptable for a hotel stay. Lastly, the hotel’s terrace restaurant has a beautiful view of the city and lake, but the service was extremely slow and the food quality was disappointing. One staff member seemed untrained and unable to understand basic instructions, yet the same person was repeatedly sent to serve us, causing unnecessary inconvenience. Overall, while the location and view are good, the staff behavior, poor service management, lack of basic amenities, and communication issues made our stay uncomfortable. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and improves their services so future guests do not face the same problems.

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the hotel staff, brought the belongings we had forgotten at the hotel all the way to the bus stand (around 6 km away) on short notice. This gesture truly reflects their dedication and hospitality. Our trip was completely unplanned, and finding a budget-friendly hotel near scenic locations felt like a big challenge. Thankfully, we came across this hotel, which turned out to be a perfect choice. The rooms were very nice—though the building is old, the rooms have been beautifully renovated with modern amenities. The views from the balcony and terrace were simply mesmerizing, making our stay even more enjoyable. All the staff members were polite, soft-spoken, and always ready to help. Privacy was well-maintained, and any requirements were quickly taken care of with just one call. A comfortable hotel truly enhances the overall travel experience, and this stay made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a budget-friendly yet pleasant stay near beautiful surroundings.
