The city experiences three seasons: hot, rainy, and cool, although temperatures are fairly hot year-round, ranging from an average low of 22.0 °C (71.6 °F) in December to an average high of 35.4 °C (95.7 °F) in April. The rainy season begins with the arrival of the southwest monsoon around mid-May. September is the wettest month.

There's no possible way you could experience all the treasures of Bangkok in just a few days. At a minimum, you need between four to five days to explore this marvelous city. Not only are there so many things to do in the Thai capital, but the tropical heat and crowds of people can also easily wear you down.

Bangkok is generally very safe for women traveling alone.
